Synopsis
In a dystopian society, people remain safe in their homes while their robotic substitutes handle daily tasks. The first murder in years disturbs this peaceful existence. People are using robotic surrogates, attractive, physically ideal mechanical replicas of themselves, to live their lives remotely from the security of their own homes. In a perfect world, there would be no crime, suffering, danger, or consequences.
