Synopsis
After learning from her estranged husband Richard that he intends to wed Grace Marshall, a woman he met while doing research for a book about an extreme Christian cult, Laura Hall commits suicide. Grace, who was raised in the cult, was the lone survivor of their father-led mass suicide. Aiden, a teenager, and Mia, a young child, are devastated by Laura's passing.
Six months later, Richard makes the announcement that they will meet up with Grace for Christmas at the family's remote Massachusetts lodge. When Aiden and Mia look into Grace's past, they find video of the cult, in which the dead members are draped in purple silk and have the word "sin" taped across their mouths...
